Must-Have:
Previous experience in interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, vascular, structural heart, and neuro specialties is essential.
Experience with any electronic charting system is required.
Description:
Special procedures technologist supporting a variety of specialties.
Weeknight and weekend call is required.
Daily caseload is approximately 15.
Call schedule includes one weekend every 3-5 weeks.
On-call response time is within 2 hours, with a minimum of 8 on-call days within a 4-week period.
A block scheduling preference will be accommodated as much as possible.
No floating to sister facilities is expected.
Locals are not accepted within a 75-mile radius of the facility.
Candidates with pending state licenses will be considered.
COVID-19 vaccination is not required; however, the flu vaccine is required with medical or religious exemptions accepted.
Technologists will encounter patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, social services, pharmacy, and transportation.
Commonly used equipment includes Philips imaging systems, Philips Xper hemo system, IVUS/IFR/FFR systems, and various interventional devices.
Ideal candidates will possess strong technical skills in cardiac procedures including catheterizations, stent placements, and the ability to interpret dysrhythmias.
Candidates should be familiar with maintaining sterile technique and managing equipment setup in a cath lab environment.
