Key Responsibilities of the Cath Lab Technologist

• Assist with all cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab and IR, focusing on adult cardiac cases.
• Monitor and scrub during procedures ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.
• Prepare and operate X-ray equipment in accordance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with a small team consisting of 2 RNs and 1 technologist.
• Float to Non-Invasive CV when needed to start IVs.
• Participate in-call requirements for coverage during off-hours and holidays.

Requirements of the Cath Lab Technologist

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cath Lab.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Verification.
• Valid WV license for practice.
