Procedural Scrubbing & Circulating: Scrub in and directly assist interventional cardiologists during diagnostic, interventional, and peripheral vascular procedures (e.g., diagnostic catheterizations, angioplasties, coronary stenting, pacemakers, and ICD placements).
Hemodynamic Waveform Monitoring: Operate advanced physiological recording systems; meticulously track, record, and interpret real-time hemodynamic waveforms, intracardiac pressures, and continuous ECG changes to recognize active arrhythmias.
Imaging System Operation: Position and operate single-plane or biplane fluoroscopic imaging systems, manage automated contrast injectors, and strictly practice radiation safety standards (ALARA) within the suite.
Emergency On-Call Rotation: Actively participate in the department's evening, night, and weekend emergency on-call pool to provide rapid-response coverage for acute ST-elevation myocardial infarctions (STEMI).
