Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or RCIS Must-Have: - EP Experience - IR Experience - Vascular Experience - Monitoring - Neuro Experience - Variety of Atherectomy Devices - Variety of Thrombectomy Devices Description: Cath Lab Tech position available. The shift is 4x10 days. Weekend coverage required every 4th weekend. Some Saturdays required as part of the regular schedule. Traveler can be called off for 1 shift every 2 weeks. Guaranteed hours are 70 hours per 2 weeks. First-time travelers accepted. Candidates must have the required skills and experience. Unit procedures include diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath, STEMI, IABP, Impella, and structural heart interventions. Interventional radiology procedures involve embolizations, stroke thrombectomy, and device implants. Candidates should have experience with monitoring and catheterization procedures. Required skills include accurate monitoring and catheter/drain exchange. Special procedures such as pacemaker insertion and endovascular interventions are part of the unit's capabilities. Candidates will float within the facility to meet needs. Housing options may be limited in the area. Completion of modules is expected before the start of the assignment.
