Description:
This is a dual Cath/IR role.
The position requires variable days of the week, including weekends.
The start time may vary.
Schedules are posted in advance each month.
Staff may need to cover 8 or 10-hour shifts depending on the weekly requirements.
Daily caseload per tech includes 4 Angio Suites and 2 ORs.
Experience in neuro interventions such as strokes, coils, AVMs, and all diagnostic cerebrals is preferred.
Experience in cardiac procedures including STEMI, PCI, and diagnostics is required.
Vascular procedures such as runs offs, TEVAR, EVAR, and body CVCs are part of the role.
Technicians are required to be on call 4-5 shifts per month.
Floating within the department may be required.
The ideal candidate will have skills in accessing/managing ports, angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, and central venous access.
Additional skills may include catheter exchanges, biopsy procedures, and embolization techniques.
The work environment supports interdisciplinary collaboration with radiology, lift teams, and rapid response teams.
Preferred experience includes working with neonates, infants, and pediatrics in related procedures.
