Job Title: Cath Lab Technician Profession: Cath Lab Technician Specialty: Cath Lab Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year in a Cardiovascular Lab or Interventional Radiology department required License: ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required. Certifications: BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current. ACLS required within 30 days of hire. Must-Have: Proficient computer skills. Description: Under the general direction of the physician, assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitor par levels of all instruments and supplies. Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities, including training of new staff. Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring is preferred.
