Shift: 4-10 hr. varying shifts (0530-1600, 0630-1700 and 0730-1800). Will be on the mandate list to fill any vacant call that is not picked up. On Call: 1 call per week and 1 call weekend every 3-4 weeks, 30 minute response time.
Job Description:
General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Scrub, circulate and monitor peripheral/vascular cases, right and left heart caths, possibly scrub devices and work in EP cases
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
XIM (division of Witt, Philips charting), EPIC, Pyxis, Xcelera, Siemens and Philips fluoro systems
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Preferred 2-3 years minimum experience
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
ACLS, BLS
Floating to over units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)
No floating to other units
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
8 fluoro rooms, 1 minimally invasive room without fluoro
Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.
Orientation will be focused on monitoring in XIM and being able to scrub and circulate effectively
Cancellation may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks
