- Ability to scrub and monitor Cath procedures, including PCIs and support devices (IABP and Impella).
- Prior experience with cardiac procedures and monitoring.
- Proficiency in using EPIC for charting.
Description:
The position is for a Cath Lab Tech with an immediate start.
The shift is 4x10 days, with hours from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
On-call obligations include typically one weekend per month and one day per week.
Techs must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Weekend coverage is required, typically one call weekend per month.
Both RCIS (CVT) or RT (ARRT) certification is required.
Coverage includes scrubbing for coronary procedures, IABP, and Impella.
Experience with catheter placements and monitoring complex interventions is essential.
The daily census involves performing 25-30 procedures.
Patients treated will include those undergoing procedures for heart support, biopsies, coronary angiograms, and percutaneous interventions.
The facility is a Magnet-designated teaching center with a focus on high-quality patient care.
Team members will collaborate with interdisciplinary support for comprehensive patient management.
The role demands strong skills in maintaining sterile fields and effective communication within a team setting.
