Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS ACLS ARRT RCIS (if applicable) Must-Have: Strong Cath Lab experience Ability to work in Interventional Radiology Description: CATH LAB/IR TECH position available for 10-hour days. Auto offer with the possibility of a manager interview if necessary. The facility has a strict no-tobacco policy. All applicants will be screened for nicotine and cotinine. Travelers who use any form of nicotine will not be considered. Position requires experience in both diagnostic and interventional procedures. Must be able to handle a caseload of 8-12 patients. Weekend call is required, with one full weekend per month. Call schedule currently averages 7-10 days per month. STEMI Call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation. 2-hour call back is guaranteed. Position involves performing elective catheterizations, both diagnostic and interventional. Experience with RHC, STEMI, IABP, and pacemakers is preferred. Must be skilled in maintaining a sterile field during procedures. Neuro intervention experience is a plus. This role involves working with adult and geriatric patient populations. The work environment includes both inpatient and outpatient settings. Candidates will not be required to float between different units.
