Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,264 per week in Rockville, MD

Job Title: Cath Lab/IR Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Cath Lab and IR experience required License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS (if applicable) Must-Have: Strong cath lab experience. Must be able to work in IR. Description: CATH LAB/IR TECH required for a day shift position. Candidate will work for 10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:00. The facility has a strict no-tobacco policy and tests for nicotine and cotinine. Candidates who use any form of nicotine will not be considered. Weekend call is required, with a minimum of 1 full weekend per month. On-call responsibilities include responding to emergencies within 30 minutes. Two-hour callback is guaranteed for on-call duties. No floating between units is necessary. Staffing ratios are 8-12 cases, with a high volume of elective procedures. Required skills include angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, insertion and programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, and maintenance of sterile fields. Additional experience in neuro intervention is preferred.
