Key Responsibilities of the Cath Lab Technologist

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Set up and maintain equipment for procedures
• Monitor patient vitals and interpret dysrhythmias during procedures
• Perform EKG lead placement and pacemaker insertion
• Maintain sterile environment and assist in room setup and breakdown
• Provide patient care pre and post-procedure
• Participate in call rotation as scheduled

Requirements of the Cath Lab Technologist

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Experience with various cardiac procedures and equipment operation
• Ability to care for COVID patients
