Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,286 per week in Lexington, KY

Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8, 10-hour days (4x10s or 5x8s) with call Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Not required for submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI Must-Have: Competence and prior experience in the Cath Lab, familiarity with EMR/Equipment such as Epic, Merge Description: The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for scrubbing and monitoring during cardiac procedures. The unit typically has 4 suites or labs with an average of 10-15 cases per day. Common diagnoses include interventional cardiology, structural heart, and peripheral vascular. Techs may occasionally float to other procedural areas based on census. On-call services are available 24/7 with call response time of 30 minutes. Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call requirements apply. A supervisor makes the scheduling for shifts, and there is only one charge nurse on each shift. Scrubs are provided as part of the position. The required experience includes competence in performing cardiac catheterizations and familiarity with industry-standard EMR systems.
