Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Cath Lab Technician Specialty: Cath Lab Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Licensure with the Department of Health Certifications: Certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Must-Have: - Minimum of 1 year experience - Knowledge of Angioplasty - Knowledge of Percutaneous Intervention - Knowledge of Impella and IntraAortic Balloon Pump (IABP) - Knowledge of Atherectomy Devices/Technique (Rotablader) - Knowledge of Temp Venous Pacemaker and Swan Ganz Placement - Scrubbing Technique for procedures encouraged Description: We are seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in the cath lab. The candidate must be certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Licensure with the Department of Health is also required. The schedule consists of 4-10 hour shifts, working 2 weekdays a week and every 3rd weekend. Weekend call is required from Friday at 5:30 PM to Monday at 7:00 AM. The out of hospital response time is 30 minutes from activation. Familiarity with department equipment, including Philips, Siemens, and GE Fluoroscopy Systems, is preferred but not required. The candidate should possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
