Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,353 per week in Stockton, CA

Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Cath Lab Technologist Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days, Every Other Weekend, First to Float Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Yes Certifications: BLS, ARRT, Fluoroscopy Must-Have: CERNER experience required. Completion of all required modules prior to arrival. Cath Lab experience with X-ray. Call required: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month. Experience with critically ill patients is essential. Description: Unit operates multiple rooms for catheterization procedures. Daily procedure volume ranges from 15-20 cases. Experience with Siemens and Phillips equipment is beneficial but not mandatory. Charge nurse available during day shifts; a circ nurse acts as the charge nurse after hours. Weekend call is scheduled every 6th weekend. Post-call day off provided. Scrub uniforms will be supplied. Staff includes cardiologists and respiratory therapists available 24/7. Medication management is supported by an in-house pharmacy. Technologists should be familiar with various procedures, including laser, rotablator use, nitric oxide administration, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, and angiojet. Experience with peripheral and coronary circulatory systems is required. Knowledge of Merge system is a bonus. Cancellation policy includes the possibility of shift cancellations during the assignment. Charting is conducted using the Cerner system. Trauma level: Care setting is acute.
