Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,360 per week in Olympia Fields, IL

Job Title: Cath Lab Technician Profession: Cath Lab Technician Specialty: Cath Lab Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required. Certifications: BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire. Must-Have: Proficient computer skills. Description: Under the general direction of the physician, assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiological and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitor the par level of all instruments and supplies. Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures. Previous experience in a cardiovascular lab or interventional radiology department required. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
