Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of one year Cath Lab Tech experience required License: NJ Diagnostic Radiologic Tech License required Certifications: ARRT (R) Radiography, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Cath Lab checklist required - Must be able to arrive at the facility within 30 minutes for emergency call - Experience in IABP, Impella, and Atherectomy required Description: This position requires an experienced Cath Lab Tech. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of Cath Lab Tech experience. A Cath Lab checklist is required for submission. ARRT (R) Radiography certification must be in hand. A New Jersey Diagnostic Radiologic Tech License is required. Candidates can submit without the license, but it should be attached if available. Call is approximately one weekend per month and about one day per week. Candidates should have skills in accurate monitoring, angioplasty, ASD closures, and cardiac stent placement. Experience with diagnostic cardiac catheterizations is essential. Additional skills required include equipment setup, hemodynamic monitoring, and scrub maintenance. Candidates should be familiar with various cardiac procedures and the use of specialized equipment. The ideal candidate must be prepared to float to other units as necessary. Travelers must begin work within two business days of acceptance to avoid cancellation.
