Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist to assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures on pediatric and adult congenital heart patients, requiring ARRT certification and BSN for this Magnet facility.

Details

• Cardiac catheterization lab supporting newborns, children, and adults with congenital heart disease
• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, EP studies, and RF ablation procedures performed
• 4x8 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• All travelers float to competent units per facility policy
• EPIC charting experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program required
• ARRT Radiography registry required, with current OH state license required at time of submission
• License required if applicable
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS certified or ability to obtain within one year required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required, 5 years preferred
• BSN required for consideration due to Magnet facility status
• Experience with pediatric/adult congenital cardiac patients preferred
• Sterile technique experience preferred
• Healthcare experience and proficiency in MS Office or similar software required

Additional Information

• Scrub, circulate, and monitor diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and EP ablation procedures
• Function as a sterile scrub assistant and manage x-ray equipment during procedures
• Monitor invasive cardiac waveforms and pressure gradients, communicating vital signs and EKG data
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining equipment par levels and general troubleshooting
• Facility will consider prior employees to return as travelers as long as they are not currently active employees
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Facility maintains a strict do-not-call policy
