Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Duration: 26 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: - ACLS (AHA) - BLS (AHA) - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI Must-Have: Candidates with previous travel experience preferred. Cerner experience is strongly preferred. Description: The position requires proficiency in fluoroscopy. The technologist will be required to scrub, circulate, and monitor during procedures. They will assist in both ambulatory and inpatient bedside procedures as needed. On-call duties are expected 1-2 nights a week and every 3-4 weekends. The position involves assisting with ICD and pacemaker placements. The equipment utilized includes Siemens fluoro, angiojet, balloon pump, Impella, and merge hemodynamics. There will be no floating to other units. In-person orientation will consist of 1-2 days on the unit. A physical and drug screen will be performed on the first day. Travelers with pets, especially large ones, should consider housing options carefully.
