Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,419 to $3,619 per week in Downers Grove, IL

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent imaging certification.
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab experience for Tech role. RN candidates should have 3 years of nursing experience with Cath Lab exposure.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• State licensure as required for practice in Illinois.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record preferred.
• Experience with sheath management, TR band placement/removal, line securement, and recognition of cardiac rhythms required.
• Experience with circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP) and familiarity with interventional procedures (stenting, thrombus extraction, TAVR, structural interventions) preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM.
• Schedule: 4x10.
• Patient Population: Adult inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiac services; includes complex cases such as cardiogenic shock and device placements.
• Typical Procedure Volume: 12–15 procedures per day; hybrid OR procedures included.
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 monitoring in lab.
• Team Structure: Typical coverage 1 RN + 2 Tech or 2 RN + 1 Tech per room; hybrid OR staff includes multidisciplinary team members.
• Floating: Candidates should be prepared to float within the hospital as needed.
