Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,423 per week in Modesto, CA

Job Title: Cath Lab/Electrophysiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience required in scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring Cath Lab procedures. License: ARRT and CA license, or RCIS Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with coronary angiograms with PCI, pacemakers, peripheral aortograms, accurate monitoring, and various catheterization procedures. Description: The manager is open to both 3x12s and 4x10s schedules. Call requirement is between 8-12 shifts per month, with one weekend of call required each month. Experience in maintaining sterile fields and proper equipment setup is essential. Candidates must have skills in diagnostic catheterization, electrophysiology lab functions, item inventory maintenance, and the ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias. Additional skills required include angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, and use of vascular closure systems. Maintaining patient safety and effective communication within an interdisciplinary team is crucial. The candidate must demonstrate familiarity with electronic charting systems and PACS. Up-to-date certifications must be provided prior to employment.
