Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,425 to $3,625 per week in Bakersfield, CA

Join Jackson HealthPros as a cath lab tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise—while enjoying the excitement of a new location. Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Must have 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting
• BLS & ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• State specific licensing when required
• Fluoroscopy certification required
• Current cath lab experience required
• Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors, as well as balloon pumps
• Experience with cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention required

Assignment Details

• 13-week assignment
• Every other weekend required
• First to float
• Open to 10 or 12-hour shifts
• Block scheduling on Friday-Sunday may be available
• Rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases 1x/week
• Weekend call 1 weekend/month from Friday evening through Monday morning
• Charting system: Cerner
