Key Responsibilities of the Cath Lab Technologist
Prepare and operate catheterization laboratory equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures
Assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other procedures
Monitor patient vitals and provide support during procedures
Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of lab equipment
Document procedures and patient responses accurately
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver safe and effective patient care
Requirements
Valid New Jersey licensure or certification as a Cath Lab Technologist
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a catheterization lab setting
Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures and safety protocols
Ability to work scheduled day shifts
