Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,464 per week in Baltimore, MD

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required; accepted with 3 years of strong Cath Lab experience for first-time travelers License: Active MD or Compact License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS or ARRT or RTR required Must-Have: - Patient ratio experience of 1 - Travel experience required Description: Cath Lab Tech position available in a cardiac invasive cath lab. Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate; seek details from the account manager. Shift schedule consists of four 10-hour days, including every other weekend. Holiday coverage is required as scheduled. On-call duty includes one day per week and one weekend per month. Charge experience is preferred. Additional qualifications include: - Accurate monitoring - Cardiac device placement - Diagnostic catheterization skills for adults and pediatrics - Hemodynamic monitoring - Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias - Scrubbing and circulating in the procedure room - Knowledge of specialized equipment and procedures such as ECMO and TAVR The department provides care for patients with diagnoses including coronary artery disease, heart failure, and pre- and post-transplant conditions. Candidates must be comfortable floating within their scope of practice when necessary. Mandatory compliance requirements include specific certifications in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support. Candidates are required to complete laboratory checks within 72 hours of contract signing. Compliance document deadlines are five days prior to the contract start date.
