Procedural Scrubbing & Circulating: Scrub in to assist interventional cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stenting, pacemakers, and ICD implantations.
Hemodynamic Monitoring: Operate complex physiological monitoring systems; precisely track, record, and interpret hemodynamic waveforms, ECG changes, and patient vital signs in real time during procedures.
Imaging System Operation: Safely position and operate single/biplane fluoroscopic imaging equipment, managing contrast injectors and ensuring strict adherence to radiation safety (ALARA) principles.
On-Call Rotation: Actively participate in the department's emergency on-call schedule (weeknights and weekends) to provide immediate coverage for acute ST-elevation myocardial infarctions (STEMI) and emergent cases.
