Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,519 per week in Portland, OR

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Cath Lab & Angio with scrub experience License: Active Oregon state license or proof of Oregon license application and fingerprinting required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R Must-Have: Scrub experience required. 1st assistant to operator for complex cardiac interventions utilizing specialized equipment. Description: Ideal candidates are experienced in both Cath Lab and Angio. Candidates must be willing to float within the facility and across the system. Travelers are required to complete any assigned education within one week of assignment. There is a call requirement of about one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks. No refusal to float as requested will result in cancellation of the contract. Cancellation terms require a 1.5-hour notice before the start of a shift. Personnel may be mandatorily canceled one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty. Candidate must provide one professional reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager, preferably from within the last year. Candidates should have experience in cardiac stent placement, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, interventional cardiac procedures, and advanced equipment use. The unit features a brand-new lab with multiple rooms equipped with state-of-the-art systems. Dedicated support staff, including EVS, is available seven days a week. All compliance documentation must be completed and submitted prior to the start date. Candidates should have no felony convictions, and any background issues must include an explanation statement.
