Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,726 per week in Peoria, IL

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Cath Lab Technologist Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-hour Days, 4x10 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Active Illinois license required or confirmation of initiation process Certifications: AART, BLS, IEMA Must-Have: Previous cath lab experience, Pediatric experience preferred but not required, McKesson cardiology PACS experience preferred but not required Description: The Cath Lab is equipped with 6 suites. The lab averages 10 to 15 cases per day. Job duties include scrubbing, monitoring hemodynamics, and circulating. Familiarity with EMR systems such as EPIC, PACS, and McKesson is beneficial. Cardiologists are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. A primary charge nurse is available from 0600 to 1530. The primary charge nurse does not routinely complete cases but will take call as needed. Shifts involve rotating weekends and holidays. On-call hours are assigned on a rotational basis, typically involving 8 to 9 shifts per month. Call requirements also extend to weekends and holidays on a rotational basis. Response time to calls is 30 minutes from the time of page. Techs are not required to float at this time. Scrubs are provided by the facility. Orientation typically lasts between 3 to 5 days. There is a mandatory call list utilized when staff cannot fulfill their call shift.
