Shifts: Day shift - 40 hrs per week. 1 night per week call and 1 weekend per month call.
Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in the dynamic Cardiac Cath Lab. This role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures supporting patient care services under physician direction. Key Responsibilities of the Cath Lab Technologist- Provide technical support for Cath Lab procedures including catheterizations and angioplasty
- Operate advanced imaging equipment per interventional and non-interventional protocols
- Ensure safety standards and radiation safety practices are met
- Instruct students and residents, performing preceptor duties as necessary
- Perform quality assurance checks on equipment
- Maintain supply inventory for all Cath Lab procedures
- Demonstrate working knowledge of information systems and coding procedures
- Engage in continuous learning through lectures and seminars
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities as per departmental policy
Requirements of the Cath Lab Technologist- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
- NYS Radiology Technologist license
- ARRT(R) certification
- BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)
- Significant Cath Lab experience for independent stemi call handling
