Certifications required: BLS, ARRT, California Radiologic Technologist License, Fluoroscopy. Average number of cases per day is 5. Emergency medical records system used is Cerner. Cath lab/IR Technologists team consists of 3 professionals. Weekend requirement for technologists is on-call basis (1 to 2 weekends a month). Holiday requirement includes working 1 holiday. Shifts are 8 hours per day, 5 days a week. Common cases include Right Heart Catheterization, Left Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, Electrophysiology, Rotablator, and Peripheral procedures. Cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be canceled during a 13-week assignment. Response time for call requirement is 30 minutes. Charting system utilized is Cerner. Position requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Minimum guaranteed hours are 40 per week.
