Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 06:30 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid state license in hand Certifications: ARRT, Fluoroscopy Permit, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates with pending Fluoroscopy permits will be considered if they have already applied for the permit at the time of submission. Description: The Cath Lab Tech will work as part of a team to assist in various cardiac procedures. The daily caseload will range from 8 to 12 cases. Common procedures include interventions for Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease, and Cardiac Arrhythmias. Candidates are expected to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures effectively. The responsibilities include equipment setup, maintaining a sterile field, and providing accurate monitoring during procedures. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. No weekend coverage is required. Call is required, up to 4 days a week depending on the need. Candidates must be open to accommodating a block schedule if necessary. Local candidates are accepted for this position. The facility is recognized for its excellence in coronary intervention procedures. Candidates should have skills in Angioplasty, Cardiac Stent Placement, and Hemodynamic monitoring, among others. Experience in special procedures is preferred, specifically in areas such as Coil Embolization and Dialysis Graft interventions. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities if required. The hiring team will assist candidates in finding housing if needed. Candidates must be willing to work during major holidays, specifically Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Two references covering the last year are required prior to starting.
