Location: Houston, TX
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Day shifts starting at 7:00 AM, with 8, 10, or 12-hour options; on-call rotation includes 4-5 shifts per month and one weekend per month
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including EP, IR, and Cath Lab cases
- Operate CVT and relevant equipment to assist physicians during procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures
- Document patient information accurately in Epic EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-volume Level I Trauma center
Qualifications
- Certified CVT (Cardiovascular Technologist) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, EP, or IR
- Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records system
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- On-call availability including weekends and holidays
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
- Skills in sterile technique and equipment handling
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills in emergency situations
