Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (day) + rotating on-call: weeknight call 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every 3rd weekend on-call (Friday through Monday, 24-hour), holidays every other; schedule posted 17 days prior for 6-week blocks
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub in and/or pan during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures with precision
- Support emergent revascularization and a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cases
- Assist with IV starts and device management including IABP and Impella when needed
- Operate and support imaging systems such as Philips Xper Hemo and Siemens C-Arm
- Maintain radiation safety protocols and ensure a radiation badge is in hand before starting
- Document care accurately in EPIC and communicate effectively with the care team
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond promptly to urgent situations
- Float to Heart and Vascular pre/post areas to provide seamless patient support
Qualifications
- BLS required
- RCIS or ARRT required; ARRT clinicians must be registered with NDMIRT and if performing fluoroscopy panning/activation must hold an active ND Rad Tech License
- Radiation badge must be supplied and in hand prior to start
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or relevant cardiovascular/radiologic experience
- Comfortable with scrubbing and/or panning; panning-only experience is acceptable for many shifts
- Willingness to participate in on-call, weekend and holiday rotations and meet a 20-minute call response time
Education
- Completion of an accredited radiologic or cardiovascular technologist program preferred
- BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record
- Familiarity with Philips Xper (Hemo) imaging and Siemens C-Arm
- Hands-on exposure to devices and procedures: IABP, Impella, IVUS, IFR/FFR, Rotapro, 4 port manifold
- Exposure to adjunct devices like Shockwave and Laser preferred
- Strong procedural asepsis and sterile technique for scrubbing
- Ability to assist in a fast-paced acute cardiac cath lab environment and respond to emergencies
- Able to follow unit-specific protocols and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
