Location: Omaha, NE
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Day shift, 8-hour shifts) with on-call rotation: 1-2 nights/week, 1 weekend/month and rotating holidays — 30 minute call response time
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist the physician during cath lab procedures, including left heart catheterizations and stent placements
- Prepare and manage equipment for ICD and pacemaker procedures, ensuring sterile technique
- Continuously monitor patients during procedures and document case details accurately in EPIC
- Support a single-suite cath lab workflow, contributing to efficient 1-3 cases per day
- Float between assigned campuses as needed and complete campus-specific orientation (1-3 days per site)
- Respond to on-call activations within the 30-minute response window and provide dependable emergent support
- Adhere to facility policies including infection control and fingernail/artificial nail standards
Qualifications
- ARRT or RCIS registration required (must be registered prior to submittal)
- BLS (AHA) required
- Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience with competency in left heart caths, stent placement, ICD and pacemaker procedures
- Valid driver’s license at time of submittal and ability to reliably travel within a 50-mile radius
- Willingness to float between Lakeside, Immanuel and Bergan Mercy campuses
- Ability to take on-call shifts (nights, weekends, holidays) as part of a rotating schedule
- Not currently full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit (including CHI and Dignity)
Education
- ARRT or RCIS registration required
- BLS (AHA) required
- BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on cardiac catheterization and scrub assist skills
- Patient monitoring and intra-procedural documentation expertise
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system
- Experience with Siemens cath systems, Siemens Sensis, Apollo, and Phillips IVUS
- Comfortable working in acute care/cath lab settings with coronary artery disease and AMI patients
- On-call experience and ability to maintain composure during emergent callbacks
