About the OpportunityWe're seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a leading Level II Trauma Center in Pontiac, MI. Join a high-performing cardiovascular team providing advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Schedule- Variable day shifts based on department needs
- Scheduled between 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Shift combinations may include:
- Five 8-hour shifts
- Four 10-hour shifts
- Two 8-hour shifts + Two 12-hour shifts
On-Call & Weekend Requirements- 8–12 on-call days per month
- One full weekend of call each month
Responsibilities- Assist physicians during cardiovascular and interventional procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile procedural environments
- Operate specialized imaging and monitoring equipment
- Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures
- Ensure accurate documentation using Cerner PowerChart
- Follow hospital safety and infection control protocols
Procedures Performed- Cardiac Catheterization
- Coronary & Peripheral Angiography
- Peripheral Angioplasty with or without Stent Placement
- Venography
- Cardiac Pacemaker Insertions
- Non-Vascular Interventional Procedures
- Inpatient and Outpatient Cardiovascular Procedures
Requirements- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience (Required)
- Active RCIS Certification
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- Experience working in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment
