Cath Lab Tech

Position Overview

This position involves working in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to cardiovascular health. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts with start times between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM, and ending between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM. The role will require participation in call shifts and late stays as outlined below.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine cardiac procedures and support interventional cardiology activities.
• Participate in one call shift per week and one call weekend every five weeks.
• Work one late stay shift per week to accommodate necessary patient care and procedures.
• Assist with routine cases scheduled on Sundays that form part of the weekly 4x10 hour shift.
• Follow all safety and regulatory procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Previous experience in a Cath Lab or relevant healthcare environment preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with medical staff and patients.
• Ability to handle emergency situations effectively and maintain composure under pressure.

Work Schedule

The work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts with a combination of day, call, and late stay responsibilities. Specifics of the shift and call requirements are as follows:

• Four 10-hour shifts covering routine cases and procedures.
• One call shift weekly and one call weekend per five-week cycle.
• One scheduled late stay shift per week.
