Job Summary:
The Cardiovascular Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is based in South Charleston, West Virginia. This role involves assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the catheterization laboratory. The position requires technical proficiency with specialized equipment and adherence to sterile procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, BLS certification, minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab or radiologic technology, and current licensure.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior Cath Lab experience and familiarity with Siemens software and equipment.
- On-Call and Call Requirements: One week of on-call duty every four weeks, from Monday at 7 AM to the following Monday at 7 AM. On-call may be scheduled continuously or in intervals, with a response time of 30 minutes.
- Coverage: Shifts include weekdays, weekends, and holidays with rotational call duties.
- Unit/Department Orientation: General hospital orientation followed by department-specific computer training lasting up to 36 hours.
- Additional Notes: Scrub attire provided, and there are no float requirements. The assignment expects up to 2 shifts per 13-week period to be canceled or extended.
- Experience: Prior Cath Lab or Radiologic Technology experience required. First-time travelers with strong experience are considered.
