Join a hospital in Evanston, IL as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise. Assist physicians and cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures and operate advanced imaging and monitoring equipment to capture critical data of the heart and vascular system.




What You'll Need:


  • ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist (Radiography) credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required prior to hire.
  • Radiology technologist licensure issued by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency required in combination with ARRT.
  • Cardiographic or Cardiovascular Tech credential from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required prior to hire.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from CCI preferred.
  • BLS Provider from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
  • High school diploma or equivalency with 1–2 years cumulative relevant experience, or an associate/technical degree, or 4 years applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
  • Experience performing specialized imaging and interventional procedures including angiography, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional procedures required.
  • Experience preparing and administering contrast media and medications within applicable scope of practice and regulations required.
  • Ability to follow radiation safety procedures and regulatory standards required.
  • Previous Cath Lab hospital setting experience preferred.
  • On-call participation required. Expect approximately 16–18 on-call days per 6-week schedule.
