Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Job Description & Requirements- Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist

Unit Details- Beds/Rooms:
- 2 Cath Labs
- 2 Hybrid Peripheral/OR Suites
- Patient Ratio: RN 1:1
- Charting System: EPIC (required), Epic Cupid (preferred)
- Equipment: Alaris, Omnicell
- Floating: No (IR and Cath Lab are separate departments)
Patient Population & Case Types- Coronary artery disease
- STEMI, cardiogenic shock
- Complex total occlusions
- Diagnostic Cath procedures
- Valvular disease
- Peripheral vascular disease (limb salvage, carotid stenosis, thrombosis)
- Impella and LVAD insertions
Experience Requirements- Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience required
- Coronary
- Structural heart
- Complex PCI
- Peripheral cases
- First-time travelers accepted if highly experienced in the above
- 1-year experience not accepted
- Must live 100+ miles from the facility
- Permanent staff must wait 1 full year before returning as a traveler
Required Certifications & Education- Certs: BLS, ACLS
- Credentials: RT (or equivalent) or RCIS (required)
- Education: AA or AAS Degree
Required Skills- Coronary, complex PCI, and peripheral experience
- Ability to perform table movement (panning)
- Arrhythmia recognition and treatment
- Critical patient assessment skills
