Cardiac Catheterization Technologist II

The Cardiac Catheterization Technologist II plays a vital role in the patient care team, collaborating effectively with other members to ensure continuity of care. This position emphasizes a patient and family-focused philosophy in all interactions with patients, their families, and healthcare personnel, with a primary focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing a variety of cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced environment.
• Work closely with the medical team to provide optimal patient care and support.
• Participate in maintaining the quality of care delivered while ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.
• Utilize the primary charting system and hemodynamic measurements effectively.
• Contribute to the ongoing education and training of staff and support personnel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• At least 1 year of travel experience as an ARRT-certified technologist with RCIS certification required.
• Certification in ACLS is mandatory.

Work Schedule

Available shifts include either three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, with possible weeknight, weekend, and holiday call during the contract period. The expected on-call commitment may range from 1 to 3 weeknights and potentially 1 weekend within a 13-week contract.

Unit Information

The facility features seven procedure rooms and a hybrid OR, all of which have been upgraded within the past 1-5 years. There is a 12-bay peri-procedural space for patient preparation and recovery. The lab averages over 30 cases per day, encompassing a variety of outpatient and complex procedures.
