Job Summary:
Works under the supervision of the Assistant Director Cardiology. Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply and prescribe ionizing radiation for radiological procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the unit.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience.
- Epic experience required: Minimum of six (6) to twelve (12) months within the past year.
- Graduation from a Radiologic Technology program or CVT program.
- For Radiologic Technology program graduates: CRT and Fluoroscopy required.
- Any one of the following credentials required: ARRT registration with CI credentials; RCIS, RCES credentials from CCI; or CEPS certification from IBHRE.
- For CVT program graduates: Any one of the following credentials required: RCIS, RCES credentials from CCI; or CEPS certification from IBHRE.
- BLS certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:- EP experience and structural heart experience.
Additional Information:- Pay range: $63/hr - $94/hr.
- Compensation may include stipends (for clinical traveler workers only), medical, dental, vision, 401K, and other benefits.
