Registered Nurse (RN) - Full Time Night Shifts

Schedule

This position requires full-time night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and holidays. Additionally, 2 on-call shifts are required every 4 weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) who is comfortable floating between multiple units, including Med/Surg, ICU, and ER. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care across various units, including ICU, ER, and Med/Surg.
• Assess and interpret patient data to meet age-specific needs of patients.
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team members.
• Ensure adherence to confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively while enhancing teamwork.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New York State RN license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med/Surg/Tele/Critical Care Units.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS from the American Heart Association or RQI system, and NIHSS.
• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Emergency Nurses Association certification is recommended within 2 years of hire.
• TNCC certification is recommended within 2 years of hire.
