TRAVELER WILL BE
RESPONSIBLE FOR SELF-STUDYING TELEMETRY STRIPS UPON ACCEPTANCE AND A BASIC
DYSRHYTHMIA TEST OUT WILL BE GIVEN FIRST WEEK OF ASSIGNMENT. THIS MUST BE
PASSED IN ORDER TO WORK IN CCU.Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of
assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in
coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the
patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining
high standards of professional nursing. Provides high quality care to the
following patient populations: Adult cardiac/ telemetry, Stroke, Vascular
intervention, Hemodynamic monitoring. BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Required. Estimated work
week 36-hours with the possibility of overtime. Traveler will be responsible
for self-studying Telemetry strips upon acceptance and a Basic Dysrhythmia test
out will be given first week of assignment. This must be passed in order to
work on our ICU-CCU units.EPIC
EMR experience within the last 12 months in a like unit required.Every
other weekend rotation required, every other holiday required.While the traveler will not be part of a regular call
rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census.
If called in, the traveler is expected to be able to respond and arrive on-site
within one hour.
