Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a weekend assignment in Texas. The ideal candidate will support healthcare providers with both clinical and administrative duties while ensuring excellent patient care and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
Take and document vital signs and medical histories.
Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment.
Administer medications and injections as directed.
Schedule appointments and maintain patient records.
Perform basic laboratory and specimen collection duties as required.
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
Provide excellent patient service and support.
Requirements
Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
Current BLS certification preferred.
Strong clinical and administrative skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Previous clinic, outpatient, or healthcare experience preferred.
