Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care during overnight shifts in a long-term care setting. The CNA will support residents with daily living activities while ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the night.
This role requires reliability, attentiveness, and the ability to respond to resident needs in a nighttime care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) during overnight hours
- Monitor residents and respond to call lights and urgent needs
- Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers as needed
- Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Maintain a safe, clean, and quiet environment during night shift
- Document care provided accurately and timely
- Follow infection control and facility safety protocols
- Support resident comfort and emotional well-being
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state-specific)
- Completion of an approved CNA training program
- CPR certification preferred (if required by facility)
- Ability to work overnight shift (11:00 PM 07:00 AM)
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Prior long-term care experience preferred
