Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), Federal Laws and Regulations, Maintain Compliance, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, State Laws and Regulations
- Provide occupational therapy services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist with assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of therapy programs
- Work with residents to improve daily living and functional skills
- Document patient progress and communicate with interdisciplinary team
- Support residents rehabilitation goals and promote independence
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations
- Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff for optimal patient outcomes
