We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Cotulla, TX. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain skills for everyday life. Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
  • Active State License or Compact License valid for Texas is required to start the assignment. (Compact licensure accepted.)
  • 2 years of OTA experience in a long term care or skilled nursing setting is required.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • DOR (dysphagia or related documentation of record) experience preferred.
  • Experience executing treatment implementation, ADL training, adaptive equipment instruction, monitoring and documentation, and caregiver education preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Type: 8-hour days, 40 hours guaranteed.
  • Assignment Length: 13 week travel contract.
  • Weekend Requirement: None.
  • Floating: May be required to float within the facility network as needed.
