Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Active New York State COTA license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings is required. COTA with SNF experience preferred.
• Demonstrated competency with common SNF equipment and procedures, including adaptive equipment, durable medical equipment (DME) recommendations, and ADL retraining.
