AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson Therapy Partners to find a qualified Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Washington, Washington DC, 20019!

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Washington, DC. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help residents regain the skills needed for daily living through therapeutic activities, adaptive equipment training, and documentation of progress. Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
  • Active District of Columbia COTA license or ability to obtain required DC licensure prior to start.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required prior to start.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a COTA in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Experience with ADL retraining, durable medical equipment recommendations, and restorative nursing programs preferred.
  • Competence in documentation within electronic health record systems preferred.

  • Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Shift name: Days.
  • Shift details: Days 08:30–16:30.
  • Schedule pattern: 5x8.
  • Assignment length: 13 weeks.
