Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - $1,299 to $1,499 per week in Las Vegas, NV

We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Las Vegas, NV. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for daily living in a post-acute/skilled nursing setting. Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Active Nevada COTA license required to start the assignment.
• Minimum 1 year of recent COTA experience in a skilled nursing facility or post-acute setting preferred. No new graduates.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience with ADL training, splinting basics, and documentation in electronic medical records preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nurses, PTs, SLPs, and case managers.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift: Days.
• Typical schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
• Position availability: 1 COTA needed for the contract assignment starting mid-May through mid-August (assignment length 13+ weeks).
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
