We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Atlantic, IA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
  • Active Iowa COTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC preferred. (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a COTA in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with ADL retraining and durable medical equipment (DME) assessment preferred.
  • Ability to provide coverage on short notice for emergency staffing needs for a minimum six-week period.
  • Patient care task (PCT) requirement: able to perform duties at the 85% PCT level as defined by the client.
