Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions that help patients improve functional abilities, independence, and quality of life.

Shift Time: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Meal Break: 30 Minutes Day Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week Pay Rate: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour REQUIREMENTS
Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License/Certification in good standing Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current CPR/BLS certification preferred Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, acute care, or home health settings preferred Strong communication and patient care skills Knowledge of therapeutic interventions, adaptive equipment, and rehabilitation techniques Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team Commitment to patient-centered care and positive clinical outcomes KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist Assist patients in improving activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional independence Provide therapeutic exercises and activities designed to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and cognitive function Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive equipment and therapeutic techniques Monitor patient progress and report findings to the Occupational Therapist Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation Ensure patient safety during all therapy sessions Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals Support patients in achieving rehabilitation goals and maximum independence ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
